STP2 - YTD Report does not match Payroll Summary after rollover

Hi

I completed the rollover to STP2 Today in MYOB Accountright. The YTD Report is now different in STP, and no longer matches our Accountright Payroll Summary report.

The difference is being caused by an Accomodation Allowance that we were previously reporting on - However, when reviewing the list of payment types, it seems quite clear that this is not required to be reported on in STP2.

So, on the original YTD report (prior to rollover), it shows the Gross as being inclusive of this allowance amount. Now I have changed it to Not Reportable, the original value is no longer included in STP but it is still included in our Gross Wages payment in Accountright.

Has anyone else come across this? What is the best way to rectify?

Re: STP2 - YTD Report does not match Payroll Summary after rollover

Hi @FelicityEvelyn

Thanks for your post. Payments are reported to the ATO through STP according to the ATO reporting category assigned to the payroll category. Payroll categories assigned Not reportable are not reported through STP.

The AccountRight payroll reports filter payments according to the payroll category type. This means that payroll categories in the Wages tab are included in the Gross wages amount.

The Payroll summary report in the browser includes the ATO reporting categories to assist with reconciling payroll reports with STP reports.

Please let me know if you need further help.
