In our Award - the Industry, Special, Plumbing Trade and Registration allowances are all included in the hourly rate.
With STP2 it seems the ATO want those allowances categorised into Allowance type KN
Do I have to do this?
If so, does that mean I have to separate these Allowances from the hourly base rate of pay on their payslip?
We also absorb other allowances into the employees generous hourly rate. Do we now have to split and itemise the Tool allowance and Leading hand allowance too?
If so, the payslip will go from:
Base hourly $** per hour
to
Base hourly $**
Industry allowance $**
Special fixed allowance$**
Plumbing Trade allowance $**
Tools of Trade $**
Qualification and certification allowance $**
Leading Hand $**
Or can I have on the payslip
Base hourly $**
Tool Allowances $**
Task Allowance$** (includes Leading Hand,Industry,Qualification and certification)

Hi @MichelleMelb , at the moment the ATO requires disaggregation of allowances, so your payslip may well have to look like your example. I've seen a similar query on another forum. You may also like to search community.ato.gov.au for "STP", there are quite a few recent questions, and comprehensive answers. One or two questions are similar to yours.
