Single Touch Payroll (STP)

I would like to know if my business is required to report on 1st July 2018.

I'm aware that on the 1st April we should have done a headcount of employees.

Our workplace has 18 employees, however on our MYOB we pay 22 employees - as we are currently backpaying some ex-employees due to a payroll error that was found.

Therefore, I would like to know whether our business does or doesn't report single touch payroll from 1st July?

Re: Single Touch Payroll (STP)

HI @Anonymous01

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a great resource.

According to the page Get ready for Single Touch Payroll on the ATO’s website, any employees who ceased work before 1 April aren’t included in the headcount. That being said, there’s no clear mention on the ATO’s website about employees in this specific situation, so you may want to check with the ATO directly as these employees are still receiving payments from you.
