Single Touch Payroll reporting to MyGOv for inactive employee.

I have a former employee telling me he cannot see his end of financial year income and tax on the MyGov website. What do I do? All other employees have seen their figures for the Single Touch Payroll on MyGov.

Re: Single Touch Payroll reporting to MyGOv for inactive employee.

Hi @mattodon1009

Has the employee been finalised through STP?  If the employee hasn’t been finalized through STP and hasn’t been reported through STP then they will need to be reported through a Payment Summary.

In contrast if the employee has been finalized through STP according to your software, this would indicate that you have sent the information through to the ATO. If the figures were not showing in the employee’s MyGov account after you had reported them you would need to follow up with the ATO

Regards,
Neil
