Single touch payroll Child Support

I am setting up single touch payroll.  I am trying to assign a category for the Child Support Payments I deduct from employee wages each pay cycle.

The only ATO reporting catergories that are available are:

Not reportable

Deduction - union professional assoc fees

Deduction - workplace giving

ETP - tax withholding

Can anyone assist?

MYOB - have you missed a category here?

Thanks

Tonya

Re: Single touch payroll Child Support

HI @Brindal

It is my understanding that Child Support payments should not be reported.

If in doubt, I suggest you check with the ATO or with your accountant.

Therefore ATO Reporting Category should be "Not Reportable" if you don't need to report a category through STP.

If I am responding to your query and I have helped you please kindly mark my post as a solution to assist others in the future.
Warm Regards
