Starting STP pre 30 Sep19

Hi, will be having some clients join AccRight/Essentials and start STP in Sept before the 30 Sep19 deadline.

My query is what happens to the pays already processed in July and early August?

Will clients migrating from Premier have those "pre starting STP" wages recognised in the new software?

Will clients starting with software for the first time, simply have to re-enter the pays?

Thanks

Darren

Re: Starting STP pre 30 Sep19

Hello @DTull

Generally speaking STP reporting works off of YTD information, so as long as you have that information accurate, that is what the ATO is concerned with.

These links have more information about STP for both Essentials and AccountRight platforms that you may find useful as well.

ESSENTIALS: About Single Touch Payroll reporting

AccountRight: Single Touch Payroll

ATO: About Single Touch Payroll > Employers with 5–19 employees (small employers) > Start reporting ...

Cheers,
Andrew
