Accounts in different order when looking in sales transaction journal

The accounts (stock on hand, purchases, trade debtors, sales, gst etc) are in different orders with every sale in the transaction journal.

In the old myob it would have the sale and  then the acconts and you could scroll down and see the purchase and make sure it wasnt dearer than the sale but now all of the accounts are in different orders.

it's not life threatening but its very annoying to scroll down and think we've lost money on a sale when it's just the accounts being out of order.

Is there a setting in the preferences that fixes this problem?

Re: Accounts in different order when looking in sales transaction journal

Hi @DanielleB1

Generally speaking, the accounts in the Transaction Journal will be arranged with the Asset Account for Tracking Receivables, followed by the income account, cost of sales and then inventory account.

If you are experiencing a different situation we would love to see a screenshot of the transaction, the linked accounts for the item and the transaction journal to investigate further.

Kind regards,
Steven
