Hung Parallels or MYOB

Hi 

 

I have a hung window - closing and restarting isn't solving my problem as the same window reappears when I re-open.  I am seeing a few icons that are either new or I haven't noticed before, which is 'view all activity' or 'view online invoice'.  Calling MYOB has typically not helped - operator told me that to try again in a few hours.  This was last night and the problem isn't resolved.  

 

Any ideas?

Hi @JRS , what AccountRight program and version are you using? Are you able to attach a screenshot?

 

Are you running AccountRight hosted by Parallels 'seamlessly' (Coherence mode), or not? I use VMWare without any issues, but always have the full Windows background visible.

I am running MYOB 2019.2 seamlessly.

 

How do I take a screenshot - I tried to save a 'snapshot' but didnt work

Hi @JRS  this is what I do, use cmd+shift+4, which will bring up cursor to select a rectangle on screen, then on releasing the mouse will record the picture and save the file to your Mac desktop.

From an MYOB Support point of view, we don't support or recommend that clients use AccountRight within a Parallel (or virtual type) environment. This is because the product is not tested within those environments and errors or other situations can occur. 

In this case, as restarting the application or using Windows Task Manager to force close the application may be a recommendation. However, as Parallels are involved that would be the extent of the support that we can offer.

Also, you brought up the View Online Invoice and Online Invoice buttons. This is normal when a company file is stored online and you do have Setup>>Preferences>>Emailing - Send Emails using AccountRight enabled. The options will show you the online invoice and the activity i.e. when it was emailed, viewed...
