MYOB How to combine old data file to new data file

Hi Guys

I need some tips about to merge old file data to new data file .

Okay.

Some staff are using MYOB v19 and submit their " check in" ( data )

the real conflic is at the same time another staff are using MYOB v16 and sumbit their "check in" ( data )

Right now , i need some tips how to merge their file without losing any data .

i'm very worried

if i copy/transfer data  MYOB V16 to folder MYOB v19 ,

will my information from MYOB V19 be lost after i restore data MYOB V16

We choose MYOB Priemer v19 right now.

Thanks guys.

HI @m44z97

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a great resource.

I see your posting from Malaysia, whilst we welcome your contribution to our forum it is aimed primarily at supporting our Australian and New Zealand clients. For technical support for your country’s specific version I recommend speaking to the local distributor of your software.

Within the Australian and New Zealand versions, company files cannot be directly merged. Instead You could look at exporting the transactional information out of one file and importing it into another file. If you are doing this you would need to be aware of conflicting information that could be imported in, such as duplicated invoice numbers relating to different transactions.

You would have to go through each transaction and make sure that there was no duplication on transactions, such as invoice numbers

Please do feel free to post any other questions that you may have

Neil
