Payroll summary

I have tried to run a payrol summary. but 2 of employee's gross payment and tax witheld amount is showing as a rediculous large number. other employees are correct. Payment period is correct. How could I correct this?

Probably the first thing to do is alert your accountant as they may have already completed your FY2017 reporting.

It is not a matter of correcting, more a matter of finding the problem

Does the total for Wages and Salaries match on the P & L match the total on the Activity summary for the year?

Does the PAYG figure match amount on the balance sheet?

Do any of these figures match the amount reported over the year in the BAS'?

Has there ever been occassions where the Pay History tab has been used to make adjustments?

Under Find transactions card call up each employee card and check that there is only one entry per week/fortnight/month. Investigate any odd entries.
