How to reassign Base Hourly ATO tax category from ETP Taxable
Hi MYOB Community I have recently joined the student hub and have an issue with probably the setup for the simulated business. However, after following the written instructions of the assessment and setting up payroll, I noticed that the Base Hourly pay item is now set to the ETP taxable component (for some reason). I don't remember doing this myself. This section is now greyed out so I cannot make any changes to it. The only other option I can think of is to cancel the subscription and start over. Can anyone help me, please?

XERO + MYOB Course for a 1st Year Uni Student
Hi all, I (24m) am starting my Bachelors in Accounting this year and am committed to this. For a bit of background I studied science for about 1.5y and did not find it appealing so I decided to try to find full time work in an alternative route. COVID hit and I am now enrolled to study Accounting and am worried I am behind everyone else being 6 years younger and entering the workforce younger, do the professionals here think I'm too old and my career is never going to go anywhere? I've worked in hospitality and admin jobs (data entry using MYOB?) and would like to find a casual / part time job that's related to my field (Assitant accountant, Bookkeeping, Interning?). Eventually I want to be able to intern in a big firm (Bank or Accounting - Is this really necessary for securing a good job post grad, from what I'm reading it is) to get into a grad program. In the meantime I've been looking at ways to advance my skills, and am worried I won't be able to find related jobs because I have no 'credible' skills on my CV. I want to do this course (80 hours over 6 months) that will give me training and a certificate in Xero and MYOB but I'm wandering if it's worth it when I'm just beginning my degree, will an employer think I've lost that knowledge when I graduate 3 years from now (Start of 2024). TLDR; Will a Xero + MYOB course and certificate be worth it after I graduate (Ba. Accounting).
