date preferences in MYOB

Hi

The dates in MYOB are in the American format ie  MM/DD/YYYY

How can I convert to the Australian date format ie DD/MM/YYYY

Thank you

  • Hi ChrisU1

Thanks for your post. The date format in AccountRight is determined by the Windows settings so this will need to be changed by:

1.Open Settings from the Start menu (Press the Windows Key and click the cog icon)

    2. Click on Time & language.
    3. Click on Date & time.

    4. Under format click the Change date and time formats link.
    5. Use the Short name drop-down menu to select the date format you want to see in the Taskbar.
    6. Use the Short time drop-down menu to select the time format you want to see in the Taskbar.

    7. Close the Settings app to complete the task.

I have this problem too and it is nothign to do with Windows. Also it is not common for everything but my payslips have a USA date format that I would prefer to have an Aus format.

I see that this is a known issue - when will it be fixed?

      Hi Tina1959

We are aware of an issue when printing receipts the date may display in US format, our developers are working on a fix for this. To change the date format for other documents, please refer to this help article for instructions: Change the date format
