MYOB Business payroll pay item issues

Hi MYOB community

 

We have just been upgraded to MYOB Business from Essentials The pay item rates seem to be set up correctly under each employee but when I create a pay run the pay rate for each pay item is the multiplier which used to be in the old system, rather than an hourly rate. I can update each one manually but this seems a backwards step and prone to errors, and it doesn't actually work when I'm adding sick leave to a pay run. Any help would be very gratefully received as delaying payroll just prior to Christmas is not ideal at all.

    Thank you for your post, and welcome to the Community forum.

     

    To address this issue, it would be necessary to navigate to each employee’s standard pay section to create a new pay item and set up an accurate pay rate. Once you've saved the new pay item, you can then unlink the one with the incorrect rate. I understand that this process might require some time, and I truly appreciate your patience in dealing with this challenge.
