Adjusting public holiday rate

Hi there

 

Our organisation has elected to pay employees double time on a public holiday instead of time and a half. In the pay run payroll public holidays worked calculator under relevant daily day it says " you can adjust the public holiday rate if required" but I can't see how to do this. Any suggestions gratefully received.

    Hi PA2,

     

    Thanks for posting your concern and welcome to the Community Forum. 

     

    I understand how important rates are for payment of the leave. In my understanding, if you are only able to choose between RDP and ADP. It's likely that you are using MYOB Essentials. One workaround for this will be to add amounts to the commission or any additional pay to compensate for the amount desired for the leave pay. Here is an article, Leave Calculations. This will give you more information regarding how leave rates on MYOB Essentials work. 

     

    If you are using MYOB Business, I would suggest reading this article, Paying Leave. This will give you more information regarding the pay rates.
