Delete myob invoice templates

Desktop AccountRight:

For invoice templates for items, myob ha prepared various standard templates.

i have taken one and created two different customised invoice templates from it.

however, when I want to print, I always have to find my own template in between  those standard templates, which cost time:

- how can I delete or make invisible those myob suggested basic invoice templates? (They don't show a delete button next to the choice)

- how can I make one of these the default choice?

    Hi Chris_Huber

Thank you for your post. Glad to know that you have already created and applied your personal invoice template as a default for your customer.

In regards to setting them to a general default one, I recommend for you to have a look on this Help Article: Personalizing invoices as it has all the steps and detailed information you may need to do it  successfully.

Hi Chris_Huber , the standard templates cannot be deleted, with good reason. To speed things up, you can set a default layout for each transaction type,  eg invoices via print/email, then advanced settings, then select the invoice layout at the top and the custom form at the bottom.

Each customer can have a custom invoice layout,  go to selling details in the card,  set a default layout and then choose a custom form.

      Thanks,

I figured out how to apply my invoice (or quote) template as a default for each individual customer.

But I couldn't find out how to make it a general default.
