To establish payment based on a kilometer rate for your employees, you'll need to create a pay item with the appropriate calculation basis. You can find detailed instructions on how to set up a pay item in this Help article: Allowances FAQs: How do I set up a per-KM travel allowance?

      Hello Princess_R
We pay per KM rate also, although this doesn't help us because it is there base wage not an allowance.
We have set this up by putting the KM rate as the hourly rate, although because a KM rate is only 0.56cents on the employees pay slips is states that annual salary is much less than what it truly is.
Is there a way for me to adjust their Annual Salary on their pay slips to accurately reflect their earnings?

Thank You in advance for your help

        Hi eklund,

I get that you're trying to make the pay slips reflect the actual earnings more accurately when using a KM rate as a base wage. However, there's no straightforward way to adjust the annual salary on the pay slips to show the true earnings when using a KM rate as the hourly rate. Instead, you might want to create a separate allowance for the KM rate rather than incorporating it into the hourly rate. It would be best to consult with your accountant for more specific advice to ensure accurate reporting.
