API for custom integrations

Hi,

Sorry if this is an often repeated question but I'm getting started on a custom integration for a client and before I go down the App route etc just want to check that that's the right way to go?

With Xero there is the App route for app developers, but that's not really what you want to do if you just want to do some process automation for a certain client, and you pay $10/mo to add an integration account for a specific customer.

Here I just see one option which seems to be oriented around apps; is this the recommended approach for app developers targeting the MYOB market and people who are just looking to do integrations for a particular MYOB business?

Any guidance much appreciated.

Apologise for the delayed response.

You are more than welcome to Register as a Developer here.
Select the Registration form, answer the questions and write out a small case as to what the function of your app is, how it will be built and the benefit for the user.

You will be applying for the free, OPEN access licence Developer licence which can get you setup to run tests as you need.
