v2021.4: Cost of sales API error when # of items per selling unit > 1

In version 2021.40, incorrect cost of sales figures are being reported through the API, where the number of items per selling unit is not 1. For example, a product where this number is 1000 reports a COGS of $23.95, whereas the correct figure per the UI is $23,945.20. 

This is affecting gross margin reporting via the API. Whilst we can correct for it, there is some loss of accuracy and therefore external reports will not agree to UI reports. Could you please investigate urgently and advise when this will be fixed.

If you could provide the full endpoint + request and response headers, URI, API key and RequestID with the above ticket we will look into it right away.

Can I also confirm, that all reporting via the AccountRight UI in this regard appears correct, and only the display via the API is incorrect?

Hi @Mike_James ,

Thank you for raising this with us. We have addressed the issue, now the cost of sales is reported accurately with any value under the item's unit of sale (i.e. greater than 1). Please let me know any issues.
