Create journal entry: Account entry by account number

It is very frustrating not being able to enter a general journal with an account number, rather you have to enter an account name.

 

If you use the dropdown box, you can't even press the number 6 that would take you directly to all of the expense accounts.

 

I have used MYOB for over 20 years, and would like to continue to use it, but taking away a function that has existed in all of your products that I have ever used, makes it easier to consider other options.

    Thank you for your suggestionCommonCents. Anyone who would like to be able to select an account by typing in an account number when entering journals in MYOB Essentials, please cast your vote here.

    Hi Everyone


    MYOB Essentials allows the user to search by accounts using the account number or account name using the Account field. This would also flow through to the Create general journal window.
