We have a custom field which allows for a bin location, is there anyway to make a invoice sort by this custom field?
Seems to be a missing feature "Sort by" on invoices.
Even sort by item code?
Currently having to run around the warehouse to pack 1 order (we do orders 1 at a time because we are in between being a small and medium buisness)
One way to overcome this is in Inventory - use Item details description tab and put name of product and then - B1 for bin location. Tick box for Item description to appear on sales and purchases.

yes but you still can't sort by item description.. so its pointless. I also asked for this feature over 2 years ago.

While it is not the whole answer you could see if running the Report - Sales / Customer / Sales Customer detail, then adding the fields for the Custom List helps. when you get the report send it to excel and sort on the Invoice Number then the Custom list. you will then have the invoice in order of the bin in the Custom List.
