I have seen several posts regarding the ability to customize customer statements. I think it would be great to be able to add my logo and details. I would also like to be able to update the info that is included on the statements; especially the details sent to the customer. I want my customer to see their purchase order number, if available, on their statements for easy referencing for their payables department.

Hi Yes I agree,
We need to be able to customise the statements and include whatever we like. We had MYOB Premier and it worked great on there, could put remittance advice details, logo and the rest

STATEMENTS CONTINUED
Does anyone know if we can access the list of emailed statements later. At present they are all included in one email on our system.
We create "orders" or pending invoices a lot as our services are ongoing and we need to update client charges over a period up to four months. At the end we send the invoice. However these come up on the list of statments, there is no date showing or how many due days from the invoice are outstanding, so we have no way to separate the statements of futjure pending invoiced customers from the overdue and outstanding customers.
Thankfully the statement of future invoiced customers ( orders or pending invoices) comes up as a blank to the customer but its still not professional at all.
Any suggestions welcome
Thankkyou

I am very confused as to why the statements currently do not have a due date. The only thing listed is date of issue. My arrangements with customers means that there are several months included in statements; some invoices may be due at the end of November and others December. There is no way to tell the difference on the statement.

Payment details don't show up on statements.
Hi,
Some customers I do not invoice - they only want me to send a statement at the end of every month - however there is nowhere on the form where payment details show up. I would like to be able to have my direct debit details show up on these statements.
Cheers,
Dustin

Hi Dustin - you say you don't invoice your customer, so I'm presuming you use Receive Money to the customer's card to record the income?
Statements are only relative to "sales", and therefore invoices created and paid.
Presuming you are using AR2012.x or better ...
If your customer needs something from you to prove receipt of payment to you may I suggest you go to Reports, Card, Card Transactions and put in the necessary filters for that customer. You can then print, save or email (click on top left blue box with little white down arrow and choose Send) this to your client.
Hope this helps.

Sorry Dustin - you're using LiveAccounts which could be different to above - I so often get these mixed up! LiveAccounts is not AccountRight Live LOL.

Beaufitul invoice complete with awesome logo, nice clean design, payment terms, etc. all on a windowed envelope. Very professional.
Then come the monthly debtor's statements.... No windowed envelope option, no option to put bank details, no option for logo. To get anything close to the professionalism of the invoice one would need a pre-printed which smacks in the face of efficiency and 'making business life easier' as the motto goes from MYOB.

I agree with KristinS and SimonGRD77, we should have the choice of customising the statements. We do alot of work for real estates and they go by the property address not the invoice number, which I enter into the notes section. I would like to be able to use the notes field on the statements, instead of having to manually create an excel document which lists the invoice numbers, property addresses and invoice amount. I am just doubling up my work!

Logos under Settings -> My Business Details -> Logo
Bank details under Settings -> My Business Details -> Payment Terms
Well aware of all that doesnt help with statements

Customer Statements are far too basic.
I would like to see:
- Larger (or better still customisable) font size - particularly for the word STATEMENT
- Ability to add a company logo.
- The Description column needs to say something useful eg the descrition field from the invoice, instead of just "Sales Invoice".
- The ability to specify a date range so that the statement could then become an Activity Statement.
- Ability to display payment options along the bottom, similar to what is displayed on the Invoice template.
Hoping at least some of this can be implemented soon.
I am thinking that the customising options could use pretty much the same software as is used to customise an invoice.
Alan Bottomley.
Has there been any update as to when Statement Customisation will be available?

I would like to add my 2 cents!
The statements need to be customisable to include/exclude particular invoices - Such as the criteria for display in the Sales/invoices section: All, or Unpaid and sent, unpaid and not sent ... etc.
Currenty statements includes all invoices, even 'not sent' ones, so the client gets a statement amount that he hasn't even recieved an invoice for!
Oh and the ability to add a custom line of type - I'd like to add the standard bt about debt collection fees.
Many thanks, and yes please consider more design options for statements AND invoices, such as font colour, some font choices (maybe google fonts?) and font size.
