New System has lost functionality. We were able to search payslips by clicking on a particualr employee. We can now only search payslips by date. Would it be possible to have a 'paperclip' icon included against a transaction that has the receipt attached, that is visible in the list of transactions, rather than having to open the whole entry to find out if there is a receipt attached? Is it possible that when you are reconciling bank accounts and credit cards the accounts listed in the dropdown only include accounts that have the Account type 'Bank' or 'Credit card'?   Very frustrating trying to find all the different bank accounts and credit card accounts when you have to scroll through the whole chart of accounts to find them.   "Reconciling Bank Accounts - Account list should only show Account types 'Bank' and 'Credit card'" ... In the new upgrade, the drop down from the Customer Name in invoices only shows the business, not the contact like it used to in the old Essentials.  This means for us with multiple contacts at the one business to invoice, we cannot see which one is correct to select.  The only way is to view invoice as pdf (which then saves it) and if it is wrong, we cant go and select another company/contact due to it being "saved".     This is a terrible new function and incredibly time consuming; deleting the whole invoice and re-doing each time until the correct contact is found is ridiculous.   **Example** Perhaps a customer comes back to you after you have issued them an invoice and want it changed to a more specific person/department/Owners Corp/Landlord etc...it can't be done and has to be deleted and re invoiced.  What if the invoice was 5 pages long? Every line item cannot even be highlighted and copied, so it would need to be printed and manually entered all over again.   PLEASE CHANGE BACK THIS FUNCTION!  This is really adding stress to our business.  So, it is 2-fold, this request.  1. When I am in the invoice list and perform a search say by customer and then open one of the displayed invoices and go back to the invoice list screen again I must perform the search again. when doing a manual entry of an expense the dropdown box is now in alphabetical order not chart of accounts order.  For clients i put the most used expenses as a low chart of account number so they come up 1st.  You do not have to scroll down all the time.  Can there be a defult so we can chose alphabetical or chart of account # "chart of accounts" ... When searching for a customer Invoice in "All" invoices open screen which then brings up all Invoices under that customer you then click on a Invoice you want to open. Once opened, you then want to look at another Invoice under the same customer but when u "click back" ALL Invoices are listed again and you need to search for that customer again rather than just leaving the searched customer invoice listing on previous screen. Could you please reorder the options for GST for NZ, when you select the dropdown box for GST, the first option is S - Standard at 12.5%, the bottom option is the correct one now S15 Standard GST 15%. Hi Guys,    Love your work. My suggestion is to add some more filter options to your banking screen. So that you can filter your search results by different bank accounts or with different amounts. Not just a date range and word search. It would be could if you could bulk allocate/reallocate jobs for all line items including payroll.   In detail:   * The allocation screen in bank feeds currently has Account code and GST, if this could include job as well that would make bulk allocations very functional * In the Find and Replace screen - as per the allocation screen this only includes Account code and GST, if this could include jobs as well then where the client has not allocated the correct job it can be replaced on bulk   "Bulk allocation of Jobs"   ... When searching for a customer and them finding that they do not exist as yet, why does the name that you have already typed disapear in the enter new customer screen? In Myob Accountright the name stays in the window and saves retyping it again.   "New Customer" ... View more

my partner needs to see contacts address. most off the jobs he does we have address and name but wen he is looking up a customer for himself it is by address. as he is a drain unblocker he recognises the jobs by address  but myself when entering them into myob i enter name first but it is very hard to find customer if i am just guven address   "contacts" ... I do multpile quotes for the same client on a regular basis & it's hard to tell the difference between quotes. The only difference is the quote number & ckient name.   It would be good to have a quote heading like Harvest App has. Hi MYOB developers,   Nice work in supporting headers in the Essentials Chart of Accounts.   Could you please now include the header in all account pick lists so we know which account to pick.   For example, as I have now created header accounts to group their motor vehicle expenses, my clients will have two accounts called Repairs & Maintenance.  One will be for their equipment and the other for their motor vehicles and it would be good to be able to know which account you are selecting.   I realise that the account number is included in the pick list, but my clients are not familar with the concept of referring to the account number.   The same exists for depreciation provision on the balance sheet where I have grouped their Plant & Equipment, Motor Vehicles and Furniture & Fittings into separate groups.   Please let me know if you would like more details.   Alan   "Include header in all account pick lists" ... i am submitting this idea again (cant believe i am the only one having this issue).  Often we have to search customer invoices for a recurring item (ie how much we billed them for hardware or services etc) but do to this we have to search by customer, then sort the date then open every invoice individually to find what we are looking for (very time consuming) . there is currently no option in MYOB essentials to search on a word so if we searched for Trend for example it would show the clients we have billed trend for...even have search criteria...also it would be good if on invoice there was a next and previous arrow so we could scroll to the next invoice rather than click ok, sort the invoices again and remember which one we were in before.  we have to do this often and it slows us down every time can this feature be added considered please...   ... I am finding it very frustrating that when matching invoices to payments, especially those we make, there is firstly only a very small window to see the invoices, and no ability to sort the invoices showing. We have a number of suppliers who provide us with 30-day End of Month credit accounts, and we provide the same option for some of our customers. This means that we can have up to 20 invoices from one of these suppliers in a single month, requiring one payment at the end of the following month. When I try to match the single Bank download payment to the invoices, I am stuck with this tiny 2 Invoice window, and I often need to go through up to 100 invoices to match them. At present this takes ages (remembering that by the time we need to make the payment, virtually all the following month's invoices also show). I would like the ability to ask for only the invoices from that supplier/customer to be shown in the match window, which would really speed up the process, and if I could also ask for only those that are due on or before a date I could input, it would be even easier. Then if I also instead of having to tick all the boxes of the invoices paid, there was a Select All option, I could nearly get my dog to do them for me! Failing any of the above, how about just expanding the window so that I could see a reasonable number of invoices, instead of just two?
