Emailing Payslips: Secure SMTP connection required

Hi,

 

A client is having an issue where their payslips are not able to be emailed out because of the error shown in the image attached.

 

Is there a way to ensure a secure connection is established via MYOB Exo when these payslips are sent? Or is this something can only be achieved from the SMTP server itself?

    Hi AndrewAiello 

    Thank you so much for your post. If you do receive a connection error message there are some simple troubleshooting steps that you can try to resolve the issue:

    • check the MYOB status page for outages
    • restart AccountRight
    • restart your modem/router
    • test your internet connection
    • temporarily disable scanning software

      Hi Earl,

       

      Thanks for sending through that information. I will pass this onto the client to see if it helps.

       

      I should have mentioned in my previous comment that all other email features are working correctly, it is just payslips that aren't sending for them.

       

      Do you know of any specific troubleshooting that can be done to test the sending of emails from the payslips module?
