Our team is investigating an issue with AccountRight

This error is happening to my AccountRight Version - 2023.5.0 

will this help with my eofy finalisation reporting 0 gross..I can't figure it out, I just want to talk to someone

Does this apply to users without a subscription or only for users with a subscription. For example if I have a licence for Standard 2018.2 but no subscription. Can I upgrade to AR2023.5. Will I have issues confirming the file?

When this problem has happened the last three times, someone from myob has asked me for my program details, and then fixed it from their end. It's not a new problem, it's been happening for years, It's almost definately done on purpose to get people to upgrade.

Payroll End of Year - Some known issues I have encountered today trying to reconcile year end 2023. 

Very frustrating MYOB has definately gone backwards in functionality 

1.  We have 28 employees and STP Verication report is not adding/including allowances,  over time,  bonus commision amounts in the Gross Payment total for 8 employees are incorrect. 

2.  EOFY finalistation  Report is including terminated employees from previous financial year and shows zero earnings

3.  I have completed two send events in the hope to rectify why some payroll categories are not being included on the  8 employees that have incorrect values,  when the correct employees have the same pay catergories. 

Would anyone have a clue as to why values are working for some employees and not calculating for others???  These employees been employed for the full financial year like the others reading correct values.      

The Gross Payment value $ is not including  the value of the additional catergories however the amounts are included on the Payroll Activity Summary correctly and are also included in Payroll Register Detail.

This applies to customers with or without subscription. If you do have a license file, as long as it is perpetual license, you can upgrade to the latest version of AccountRight 2023.5. Once upgraded, you can confirm your company file online. If you encounter any issues, feel free to post in the Community Forum so we can look into it further. On the other hand customers who are using subscription license, if their subscription ended, therefore they will no longer have an access to online features and will not be allowed to upgrade to the latest version. You may also check The Help Article About activation and confirmation for further information.

Talk about a 'hi-jacked' thread. This thread was specifically about Confirmation Issues for those on older operating systems, and unrelated to STP Reporting. As one of the key purposes of this forum is to assist others looking for solutions to a problem, best for all if you start a new thread with a topic or subject that a shows the issue you are dealing with. The work around provided above is from the settings of your computer. Click the Windows Start button then type in Control Panel. Once you are in the Control, you will see the "View by:". Click the drop down and choose Small icons. From there, you should be able to see the Internet Options. Please refer to the screenshot below. 

Once you clicked the Internet Options, this is how it looks like.

Please click on Advanced. Scroll down until you see the Use TLS 1.2, tick the box then hit OK. After that, start the AccountRight software again and try to confirm/activate the file.

If you are having an issue with your EOFY Finalisation having a $0 gross, please check all the Payroll Categories used if they were assigned to the correct ATO Reporting Category. Once done, please send an update event or $0 pay run. This ensures that the ATO will receive the up to date figures of your employee. If it is still the same, please send me a private message with the following details:

• Serial number
• Name of primary contact and email address
• Business name
• Company File ID (Help > About MYOB AccountRight)

JenB2 Sorry I can't help but I can commiserate! I had 96 employees and similar issues. I ended up downloading every. single. YTD summary manually for each employee and compared that to the payroll reports. They all matched individually and in total. So the discrepancy was WITHIN the STP portal. Two 0 pays did fix it for me though, except I then had to manually set 200 payslips from 'to be emailed' to 'already sent'. 

I didn't find any errors in ours at the time, but it's worth checking your payroll category list for any categories that haven't been matched up to an ATO reporting category (start with those overtime, allowances etc) although it sounds like if it's only some employees with those categories then that's unlikely to be the issue. I hope you get it sorted soon. This time of year is bad enough already let alone when forced to use a system that doesn't work like it should.
