Inventory Opening Balances

My opening inventory balances (item and value) are incorrect.

Items are showing with opening negative quantities.

Despite opening a support query, after 6 weeks no solution has been provided by MYOB (request #01595000).

The company file is new, starting on the first day of the financial year - 01/04/2023.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Re: Inventory Opening Balances

Hi @jpet , the item register screen display is well known for errors. The running value balances appear to be completely incorrect as well.

If you run the item register detail report, does the information seem correct? If so, MYOB may be able to correct this via a script.

Re: Inventory Opening Balances

Thank you @Mike_James

The item register detail report is not correct.

The support query I opened has been open for 6 weeks and MUYOB can't seem to fix it.

I'm getting close to ditching MYOB for Xero.
