We use the Team app to clock on and off, and use timesheets to process the pays, with payslips being emails out. We don't use the Team app to apply for leave though, that is manually entered in timesheets. She was paid out her leave balance one month ago but he contacted us yesterday saying the leave balance on her emailed payslips has not matched the leave balance on the payslip downloaded from Teams. This isn't a once off, Apparently they have not matched as far back as she could look. Any ideas what has happened? The last payslip has 1.7 hours of AL on her emails payslip and 53hours in the app payslip.... Bank file - reversed pay still there Hi all, I have just done pays and between sending out the payslips and processing the payment through the bank an employee has spotted an error that needed to be fixed straight away. I need help removing the old pay and the subsequent reversal from the "Prepare electronic payment" window please! Situation: - Bank file had been created - Reported to ATO via STP - Money had NOT been paid out of our bank account I followed the "how to reverse a pay" instructions on the MYOB Help page - "Changing a Recorded Pay" Can someone please tell me in plain english how I can make the two transactions in the attached image disappear!? I have gone round in circles with this so many time. Thank you! Re: Paying Unused Annual Leave over multiple pay runs after resignation? I have spent hours looking through both Fairwork and ATO websites. The only reason I am asking is becaise a post I read on this forum in reply to someone asking how to actually do the A/L payment said "you are aware of the legal implications of this?". Can you link me to a page on the above two websites where I can read this for myself then? Thank you Paying Unused Annual Leave over multiple pay runs after resignation? I have searched the forum but can't seem to find an answer... An employee has resigned. She has over 200 hours of unused annual leave. She has asked me to pay it to her in smaller instalments over a number of weeks (we do a weekly pay run). What are the legal implications to myself/the business if I did this? I understand how to calculate the tax on Unused Annual Leave if I processed it in a bulk amount, I more just want guidance on legalities around why I CAN'T pay it as normal A/L over a few pay runs. Thank you! Annual Leave - Wat is the "regualr Rate"? I have recently found an issue with leave entitlement balances - some leave wage categories weren't linked to the entitlement categories, so the leave balances haven't been deducted... For who knows how many years... Anyway, when setting up the Annual Leave wage category, the Pay Rate has been set to "Regular Rate Multiplied by one". What is this Regular Rate? Is it the Base Hourly amount entered in each individual's Payroll Details --> Hourly Rate ? The issue for us has occured because some staff have an award wage, some are above award, some work weekends for a different rate again... So there have been seperate wage categories set up for each of these e.g. Person X Sunday A/L, Person X Sunday S/L, Award Level 1 18 year old Mon-Fri S/L, etc. Is this correct? Re: "Hours in Weekly Pay Period" adds to standard pay everytime this screen is opened Hi Tracey_H Thank's for taking the time to reply The base hourly column is always left empty, but we've found that sometimes when the employee's card file is opened and the "standard pay" page is opened the base hourly column is populated automatically. IS there a way to prevent the automatic population of the base hourly column? Thank you! Danielle "Hours in Weekly Pay Period" adds to standard pay everytime this screen is opened Hi, We use timesheets but some staff have items in the standard pay screen such as super deductions, allowances, etc. Everytime the standard pay page is opened it automatically adds the "Hours in Weekly Pay Period" value to the Base Hourly column. How can I stop this? It has resulted in a number of incorrect payroll payments as the hours auto added to the standard pay have been added to the timesheet totals... Thanks :) SolvedRe: "Trade Creditors doesn't match financials" ??? Thank you! "Trade Creditors doesn't match financials" ??? Every month or so my accountant sends me an email saying "trade creditor's doesn't match financials, please correct".... I've finally worked out how to create the Payables reconcilliation report and to run the company data auditor, but I don't actually know how to find the issues in question. And what on earth am I doing wrong that this happens all. the. time?! The Payables Reconciliation Report shows it balances at 30/6/20, but then 1/7/20 it's out by -$2485.57. The exceptions report displayed from the company data auditor has transactions going all the way back to 2018 (which were apparently imported incorrectly from a previous company file), however, there are no entries since 30/6. So it is not helping me in isolating the potential issues. The accountant usually journals an adjustment if I say I can't work it out, but I'm feeling like that's not the greatest idea. I use bank feeds so wouldn't have thought anything could be getting entered twice? I also check the aged payables monthly and fix any errors there (i.e. where Spend Money was used instead of Pay Bill) Please help, I am pulling my hair out Solved
