Only frustration was no way to resolve without there direct assistance so had to wait 2 hours for them to open. opening myob - states backup in progress but not correct When I try to open my MYOB file I get this message: Back up in progress The company file is currently backing up You can sign on once the backup is complete There is no MYOB file open SolvedAnalyse Sales (item) not displaying report Hi team, We are trying to review margins, gross profits etc in this report for our inventoried items however nothing is displaying. All items have been sold for years and these reports did work some time ago. Please advise how we resolve this. FYI we buy items in Euro and sell AU. Quote templates or recurring transactions that allow auto price updates Hi team, we often use the same item lists when quoting and use the recurring transaction feature to save these lists. Unfortunately when there is pricing updates we bring up the recurring transaction, enter relevant customer details however it does not automatically update to the current price list. It leaves us with having to go into each item code check new sell price and re-enter in quote. Sometimes we are updating 20-30 codes each time and this process is labour intensive! Early years of MYOB it use to update automatically as soon as you changed the customer name. Any other suggestions please on how we can have a more functional quoting system would be much appreciated! Price levels not updating after import Hi team, After import of price update, not all price levels are being updated and Price A-F is left at Nil price. Standard base selling price is showing but price levels empty. For some reason some import items have been updated but some are empty. We haven't noticed the new fields before for Quantity over: so wonder if this new field could be a problem. Or is there a new change we have to make when importing data. Will upload now to all our customer card files :) Re: comments auto populating to next invoice thanks for trying, much appreciated! we just find it a jolly nuisance because when you are busy sometimes forgot to go to comments and delete past notes everytime we raise new invoice. Not ideal for us because sometimes it contains sensitive info and risk it can be printed off and sent to customer. Been an issue since using myob back in 2011! If your team can consider a solution would be much appreciated by myself and many others I'm sure. Re: comments auto populating to next invoice Hi Yanike, the text in comments changes all the time. It's not the same text for each customer. Each invoice we require unique comments pertaining to that invoice. Comments from previously invoice still appeared on next new invoice. comments auto populating to next invoice Hi Team, Has there been any new updates which enable us to disable the autopopulate of comments over to the next invoice? Its very frustrating as we use comments all the time which are individualised to each customer invoice. I've been waiting since 2008 for this to be fixed during one of the MYOB updates.
