Cheers vidario Re: Payroll STP Categories Hi, MYOB has a category called 'Workers Compensation Leave'. Cheers vidario Re: Unable to log in to Myob Accountright Yes there appears to be a global issue. Re: Changing employee from hourly to salary - error message Hi I keep salaried staff on a 'base hourly' rate rather than changing to 'salary'. This makes more sense for me, as it will then calculate entitlements etc. on the base hours, whereas for salary it'll have to be entered as a fixed amount per pay period. This means that if there are changes, such as an employee taking unpaid leave (while being salaried), the base hours will reduce accordingly and the entitlements will calculate correctly. Unfortunately you're not able to deselect payroll categories that have been used in a timesheet, but you can rename them (such as adding -z, zzz, or zDNU to the front of the payroll category name) so that they'll at least be more unlikely to be picked :) Hope that helps. Thanks vidario Re: STP Reports FY21-22 Hi YENNG1 It does the same for me - I don't appear to have access to the 21-22 reports through the Payroll Reporting centre either (thankfully I had saved a copy!) - quite strange! Cheers vidario Re: Full time to part time Hi You'll need to change the following: - Payroll Details -> Personal Details: Change Employment Basis to Part Time. - Payroll Details -> Wages: Change hours in pay period to match new hours. - Payroll Details -> Standard Pay: Check that the number of Base Hourly hours match those in Wages above. I also like to create an entry in the Contact Log which is very helpful for future reference. It can say something like "Mr Jones change from full time (76 hours) to part time (60 hours) effective 13 July 2023". Hope that helps Thanks vidario Re: Total Entitlements on Payslip Hi Our payslips show the total value of entitlements rather than YTD (even though the column header rather unhelpfully states YTD). If your query relates to Personal Leave entitlements, it may not have been set up to to be displayed on the payslip? Cheers vidario Re: Payroll Category Report Hi To my knowledge I don't believe there is. This would almost be a mix of the two existing reports (Payroll Category Transactions and Payroll Summary) under Payroll Categories. I can definitely see how this report would be useful though - hopefully MYOB can write it and include it in the Reports module. Cheers vidario Re: deleting old payslip without sending them out Hi Kim The basic manual way is to go into each payslip and choose 'already printed or sent' - although I appreciate that can be a time-consuming project! If you're using Outlook, the slightly less manual way of achieving the same result is as follows: 1. set up e-mailing via Outlook (i.e. do not send e-mails directly from MYOB), 2. ensure Outlook is off-line (Send/Receive tab -> Work Offline), 3. e-mail the payslips from MYOB. This will create all the payslip e-mails, but since you're working offline they will sit unsent in your Outlook outbox, where you should be able to delete them all before taking Outlook back online. Hope that helps :) vidario
