It looks correct in MYOB and exports to the wrong quanity break. MYOB, can you run the script to fix this ASAP?!? Re: Item Export Data Corrupt - Recurring Issue Hi gavin12345 and tbaalham , Thanks for your reply. It doesn't appear to be description issue as data is exporting to correct columns, just in the incorrect fields. I did have this as a solution previously (https://community.myob.com/t5/AccountRight-Sales-and-purchases/Item-Export-Data-Corrupt-Possible-Cause-of-Issue/m-p/748469) but unfortuately is not the case for this one. I did try exporting without extended description and same issue occurs. Previously, I have had a script run over the file and this has helped, but so far no contact from MYOB to assist with this. The only other option was a third party report (https://community.myob.com/t5/AccountRight-Sales-and-purchases/Item-Export-Data-Corrupt/td-p/584668/page/2) but this was also not feasable as had to be altered everytime an upgrade was completed. We did not want to continue spending additional money on a service that should work in the monthly rate we already pay to MYOB. All suggestions appreciated though, and happy to try any other ideas anyone may have! :) Item Export Data Corrupt - Recurring Issue Can anyone assist with this issue occuring again? See thread 'Item Export Data Corrupt' for further info. No tabs located in data to push info into the incorrect columns, it is just exporting data incorrectly. Any help would be muchly appreciated as trying to complete a full price check. How does this occur so we can't prevent it from happening again? Thanks! :) Re: Inventory Item List Stock On Hand Discrepancy Hi Komal_S, Any updates on this one? Re: Inventory Item List Stock On Hand Discrepancy Hi Komal_S , Yes, still having same issue. Assistance would be appreciated :) Inventory Item List Stock On Hand Discrepancy Hi There, Just have an issue where the Item List is showing On Hand value that is incorrect. Please see below steps I have taken to check stock discrepancy and also how I have tried to resolve. Can you review and advise how to fix this accordingly? Item List shows incorrect stock on hand: Quantity on Hand is correct if you look within the item itself: Item Register is also correct: Item Summary Report is correct: I have also tried adjusting in a quantity of 3 (which did show correctly as 3 on hand in the item list) and adjusting out but still reverted back to 2.2200…etc Are you able to advise how to fix this issue? We have at least three codes that are affected that I am aware of: Any assistance would be appreciated :) SolvedItem Export Data Corrupt - Possible Cause of Issue Following up on the closed thread of same name, it looks like we have worked out what has caused the issues with data exporting to the incorrect locations. Although you are unable to type a tab into the text field of the item description, it does allow you to copy/paste. When using copy/paste this does have the ability to insert tabs. Hence why when you export using tabs as the breaker, the data it goes to the incorrect fields. All issues I have had with exporting have now been down to this issue and are easily fixed without scripts. Using the filter option in Excel, just filter to show all values on the column after the standard cost. This will show all data that has exported into incorrect fields (as wherever there is a tab it will have moved data over one column). From here, update the extended description in MYOB manually to ensure all tab spaces are removed. I have found that even if it looks like their is no tab space, it can be tacked on at the end of the text string also. You should then be good to export again, hopefully with everything in the right fields. Hope this is helpful to anyone who may have had the same issue! :)
