However, after a great deal of trial and error, I was able to find the Apply button (the interface is so large, and the scroll down well hidden on a laptop) and refreshed the page often enough that it finally co-operated. This is poor interface design, and it is making life quite miserable! However, I have now managed to fashion some kind of employee report, one at a time, using the Payroll Activity Report. I'm extremely grateful I don't need to generate these for dozens or hundreds of employees! Please pass on feedback to your design team, to make sure these deficiencies are address in a workable fashion as a matter of priority. That this regression on previous functionality was approved in the first place is a disgrace to MYOB. Re: Transfer of MYOB Subscription to new Accountant Hi Chamodi, Not advisable to post licence numbers or email addresses online... could you edit your post, to remove them a.s.a.p., pending a response from the moderators? You probably need to contact Support, to get them to remove your access, and discuss having the new accountant added (which will depend on whether the client has file access, where the client can invite the new accountant themselves). Cheers, Kirsty. Re: MYOB Essentials Payroll backup Hi Rachel, Sorry I don't have a definitive response for you, but I wonder if you have been given instructions for a desktop version, instead of an online one? Either way, you may like to download whatever reports you can, to make sure your current year data is consistent, after the changeover to the new version. Good luck, hope you find your answer. Kirsty. (MYOB Certified Gold Partner, Tax Agent etc) Re: End of Financial Year Employee Amanda, As with a bunch of other accountants, I am looking for year end summaries for employees, which used to be very easy to produce. I have wasted so much time, and hoped that your answer would help. Unfortunately, I can only see a Pay Run Summary (not a Pay Run History report), and that will only permit me to summarise one pay at a time. How do I produce a report for a full financial year within the new MYOB Business Payroll platform? It is quite ridiculous that MYOB have not fixed this since last year's compulsory "upgrade" roll-out, along with a lot of other deficiencies. And I am sick of hearing from MYOB that you understand the feedback and it is considered... we need to be working, not playing games. Re: How to access MYOB Business/Essentials data post account close I believe you are supposed to extract data before cancelling the subscription. I couldn't find it explicitly stated, but only this: https://help.myob.com/wiki/display/myob/Cancelling+your+MYOB+subscription Re: NZ - Receipt requirements for very small purchases? Recent changes to the GST Act 1985 mean that you no longer need tax invoices for purchases of $200 or less: "When you buy...you’ll need to get taxable supply information...unless the supply is $200 or less." These rules came into effect on 1 April 2023. Re: IR345 Report ... as mentioned above. However, this doesn't provide any schedules that may be needed by those employers filing by paper. Re: IR345 Report The Employer Deductions report, in the More>Reporting>Reports>Payroll section, gives an annual summarised breakdown, either by monthly or by twice-monthly payment frequency. It's not quite the IR345 form, but at least the information is collated in some form. I also note the lack of a Tax Agent export, for uploading into myIR, for those clients where you can't submit returns via MYOB :-( Lots of change, not much improvement, sadly.
