why does myob pay super take so long
I have started processing Super through Myob as a trial, after using ATO Super clearing house for many years. I only processed one company's supers through MYOB, the other companies I work for, I continued using ATO Clearing house. I processed these all on the same day, and whilst the ATO Clearing house has already paid out the super to the corresponding employees, MYOB Pay Super is nowhere to be seen. The amount came out of the bank a/c 5 days ago! Going forward, how often is this lag in payment going to happen? Mike, I was not asking for how to process this final pay. I have already researched and know what I need to do. It's in respect of how to reduce the leave entitlements to zero once they have been paid out. Tried calling MYOB and after wasting more than one hour the person was unable to help with processing unused leave entitlements. Then she said I will put you through to Payroll, even though at the intial conversation step I had asked: Have I come through to the Payroll help department? When she put me through to the "proper" payroll department, MYOB had closed up shop for the day. Please MYOB, put on specialist Payroll staff who understand Australian Payroll laws and guidelines. Still no closer to getting the help I need, and the no, the community forum is not helpful either. HI I ve just finished doing all that already. I noticed the problem was that I wasn't taking the future dated transactions into account so it's all okay for now. It actually has nothing to do with reports. All the reports I currently check have the correct bank balance. It's in my chart of accounts list. When I do a transaction search, it shows the correct balance. When I click into the Accounts List, its shows all my current balances of all my accounts and this is where that bank account is wrong. Upon further checking, I noticed that I accidentally forgot to reconcile via bank feeds for a few months and when I go into the Reconcilation Tool, the wrong balance is sitting there again. I happened to look at one of our secondary bank accounts in the Chart of Accounts (Accounts List). The account balance shows up as $60.41 which is wrong, but when I do the transaction search for the same account, the ending balance shows up a different figure (around $3,000) which is actually the correct one. When I check the Trial Balance, that too shows the correct amount....What is going on with the Accounts List??? Why is the balance wrong?? How can I trust MYOB unless I do reconciliations?? I have read on the ATO's website that the amount taken out for Salary sacrifice DOES NOT attract Employer Super guarantee. Yes, I did see that you can save documents from the Intray, but there might now be hundreds of attached documents and I have to find and save each one. Unless the user knows that you should save each document as you retrieve it from the Intray, these documents are now lost once the business has closed and the MYOB file is no longer available online.457Views0likes3Comments
