Unable to Print, Email or Save to Disk Sale Invoices in lock period
We are using AccountRight Build 2024.6.1.9 Desktop and are unable to print, preview, email or send to disk a Sales Invoice in a Lock Period. How do we email an invoice copy to a customer or send to disk if the invoice is in a lock period and no changes have been made? Every time we try to email or print an invoice and no changes have been made an "Information" window opens saying "Any changes you have made to this sale will be saved before it is printed. OK or Cancel", if you click on Cancel still can't print or if you click on OK, the Spelling screen appears, so we click on Cancel Spell Check then the ERROR Screen Shows "You can't edit sales dated in the lock period. The lock period is specified in the Security Tab of the Preferences window." This occurs every time when NO CHANGES have been made, so how do we email or print or send to disk invoice copies without unlocking a period as not all users have access to unlocking periods?? We are trying to import data from MYOB AccountRight 2024.2 directly into GeoOp, the integration authenticates between both apps ok. When we try to import the clients into GeoOp, we receive the following error message:- { "message": "There was an authentication error; Please try re-authenticating with AccountRight", "code": 0 } I have tried different users with Administration Privileges' and we keep getting the same error and I have been advised to contact MYOB Support to sort this issue out, could you please assist. Having issues with the Refresh Icon on the Purchase Register...it is not working, I have to close out then go back into the Purchase Register to see the changes / updates. This was working in the previous version and in this version it is not working along with the Purchase Register Report not generating information if more than 1-2 days selected. I agree with Stocky; there is very little improvements to desktop / server based AccountRight....so what is the point of upgrading or paying a higher subscription fee??? When is MYOB going to fix the Leave Entitlements Report to show 3 decimal places for Hours instead of 2 decimcal places...the employee card file has 3 decimal places. This report consumes so much time at month end, reconciling the Leave Entitlements to check each individual employees card file to reconcile is time consuming especially when you have 17 employees. All we seem to get is new features instead of fixing all the bugs on the wish list....how hard is it to fix up reports??? Hi doublet, the current versions of MYOB do not purge data at all and the file continues to grow and becomes slower....when you close a year in AccountRight Live its very quick as it does not purge data at all and there are no options to purge data, all it does is roll the numbers over and lock the period and you continue to work as normal with a growing data base. If you are still working on the Classic Version and do not require all those new features then I recommend to continue using the classic version....I really regret making the call 5 years ago to move to AccountRight Live and wish I delayed the change over until we really had no choice but to update in order to keep up with the compliance updates. MYOB Solution to purging data is to create a new Company File by exporting your data and importing the data into the new file but is limited on what you can export...this is a lot of extra unnecessary work if only they would re-consider the purging option OR the other option is upgrade to their expensive premium package EXO where they design the package starting from 25K. When will MYOB be re-introducing Purging Data...this was an excellent feature in V19. Re-creating a new company file is a hassle and extremely time consuming when you don't have those hours available in a day. Hi Neil, Thank you for looking into the compatibility issues...we have "Server 2008 Small Business Server SP2" which is no longer compatible with MYOB after spending time researching the internet. The latest version we can have of .NET Framework is 4.6 for our Server. Over the weekend another operating system was installed on our Virtual Server - Win 10.1 Pro so we can move forward with MYOB as a temporary solution...we are now officially up and running this morning using MYOB 2018.1.1 It would be appreciated If the installation instructions for future MYOB releases could be updated to include Servers Compatibility and Version of .NET Framework as this would assist with Network Maintenance Outages....it will be a prompt for Network Administrators that we need to update / upgrade our Operating Systems Requirements / Technology before proceeding with any planned Network Outages. I have tried to install the new version of AccountRight V2018.1.1 on our Server 2008 SP2 using the "SE" Server Edition Application Update. It keeps asking me to install .NET Framework V4.6.2 and this version of .NET Framework is not comptabile with Server 2008 SP2??? We have .NET Framework V4.6 installed on our Server but can not upgrade to V4.6.2 as it is not comptablile refer to below link. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/get-started/system-requirements Is there a work around solution in order to install the new update?? I have also read the Update Instructions for AccountRight V2018.1.1 and there is no mention of Server 2008 SP2 not being compatible with the new version of MYOB. Hi, In reference to the Payroll Entitlement Reports, has the decemical point been fixed from 2 to 3 for hours to match the Entitlements in the Employee's Card File? Its very time consuming going to each Employees Card File and noting down the correct figures when reconciling Payroll each month. When will the bug fixes with Inventory be sorted out?
