Paid sales not appearing as income in business insights and reports

Hey guys,

 

I recently started using AccountRight for my business and have been recording historical and ongoing sales and purchases.

 

I set up my accounts using the 'easy set up assistant' and all my purchases are recording correctly and appearing in business insights. However, the sales and income are not appearing.

 

I have tried a few of the different variants of income accounts and asset accounts but nothing seems to be amending this issue.

 

Any help of information would be appreciated.

    In Business Insights click on Customise and make sure Customer Analysis panels are selected to display. The other thing to check is your user permissions.

    Thanks for your post and apologies for the delay in replying. Are you recording sales through Enter Sales or Receive Money? For sales to be linked to customers, and therefore appear in Business Insights and customer reports, they do need to be recorded through Enter Sales.

      I appreciate the response. 

       

      I am recording sales through Enter Sales. I am concerned it may be my initial set up, although I have since re-set up my company profile as per all of the tutorials.

       

      The issue is still persisting.

       

      If you have any more insights or potential causes to investigate I would greatly appreciate it.
