Returned part Superannuation contributions

I have received amounts into my bank account from a superannuation fund, the only information provided is the amount and the name of the super fund.

My questions is if an employee has changed superannuation funds, it is very difficult to locate which employee the payment has been returned for as there is no record of previous fund contirubitons.

Also should i receive a remittance advise from either MYOB clearing house or the Superannuation Fund

    Hi jodie12345,

    Thank you for your post.

Generally speaking, If you have received a refund from the fund, you would need to contact them to know why they have refunded this payment and to who it belongs.

In some cases, however, we also have access to this information, so if you'd like to send me a private message with the below details I'd be happy to look into it for you:

    • Serial number
    • Business file name
    • Date and amount of refund
