Setting up a first aid allowance

Hi

I am trying to set up first aid allowances, and I only get a choice of hourly rate or salary, the award states it is $17.22 per week, can anyone tell me how to set this up, so it feeds through to payroll without having to add 2 hours for each person, so it is correct for fortnightly pays. Also, by setting it up as hourly it is accruing entitlements.

 

We are using MYOB AR Live.

    Hi Advocacy1 

     

    Thanks for your post. With the allowance set up as Hourly>>Fixed Hourly rate of $17.22, go to the employee card>>Payroll details tab>>Standard pay enter 2 in the Hours column. This will prefill the hours for that payroll category when processing pays.

     

    To stop leave accruing on that allowance, open the leave entitlement payroll category>>click on Exempt and select the allowance.
