Accountright Desktop Login Change
I use Accountrigh DESKTOP online with all of my clients appearing in a "Company Files Online" list. Each morning I used to log in and work to each of my clients as necessary. That one login would last for 12 hours. And every now and then the authenticator. A few days ago, for every client I have on the list, I now have to type in my email address, and then the password again, making it a tedious task to go through a number of clients I update every morning. I rarely use the cloud version, as desktop is quicker for my purposes. Is there any reason for the frustrating change. Thanks,27Views0likes1CommentFile Access
I have a client who has invited me into their file as administrator. I have accepted the invitation, but am unable to find the file within the list of my client files. According to my.myob, my access in active, but unable to find the file either from within the cloud, or though desktop account right. I did phone MYOB about this a week or so ago, and the person I was talking to assured me they were going to escalate it, but I haven't heard anything since. This is now getting quite urgent as the lodgement due date for this client's return is 15th May. Hello MYOB, I need to change login/email as no longer using this email as has been de-activitated by IT. I am still the Administrator for company that has been sold but will still need to do BAS, EOFY, etc. When I went to change login/email it came up with " Login name exists (l116_3000). Can you please advise and I will check for answers on Community everyday. I need this done ASAP. Thank you. This morning when I attempt to login to AccountRight 2024.2 I get a Security Alert. What is odd is that the valid data is pretty short. It also took several seconds for the alert to popup. How can I verify that this actually issued for MYOB (there is nothing that points to this in the cert details) and that I'm actually contacting the myob servers and not being re-directed to some bogus site?362Views1like13CommentsNew to Dashboard (from Windows Desktop) - beginner questions re UEX
Please excuse the basic nature of this question. I am learning my way around the dashboard and trying not to escape back to the old Windows Desktop all the time which I find easier in many ways. (which although not as intuitive is, as many will know, feature rich and so often easier to do stuff). Question: In the old system one could easily switch around tasks without losing your place between screens or menus using the Command Centre. I find it so frustrating when reconciling that is, if I need to go away to do something elsewhere - when I return I am back at a default screen ('find transation' from memory) and have about three to four actions to perform to get back to the same spot (eg: date has defaulted to today and I have to start the whole process again as in set statement month dates. Even if I 'save' reconciliation work that doesn't save my position. Is this just the nature of the browser workspace? Its such a waste of time. Half the time I retreat back to the old systrem just becuase it might be dumber but its easier. Company FIle won't open
Hi, My company file won't open since upgrading to lastest version. It was working fine with the older version then told me that i need to upgrade to the lastest version 2024.3.0 and now it won't open the file. it goes to a light grey screen and shuts down altogether.238Views0likes3Comments
