Hi clinteidelman , I wish I had more than one vote! My reasons are:
- this was a good feature of v19, why remove it?
- confirm the accuracy of the transaction before it is recorded. From other posts it appears the rate can't be amended later.
- on the supply side, highlight trends suggesting inappropriate use of exchange rates leading to under or over valuation of inventory.
- similarly on the sales side, potential incorrect recording of sales income leading to incorrect gross margins, pricing decisions etc.

With the release of AccountRight 2020.2, the currency gain or loss will appear in the Receive Payments and Pay Bills windows.
