Accountedge NE edition 12 - can't access custom forms

Yesterday I could access custom forms (in this case for printing a customised copy of an invoice - something I routinely do)

Today I can't.

I've quit and reopened AE, and restarted the computer

Can anyone suggest why this might have happened, but more importantly how I can reconnect to the custom forms?

I believe they are in the same place as always - HD/Applications/AE NEv12.5/custom forms/invoice copy.frm

We haven't upgraded recently.

There have been no system changes and no-one's been messing with the file structure.

Thanks

Philip

Generally speaking, for AccountEdge to pick up the customized forms they need to be in the correct location for that version. If they weren’t then they wouldn’t be seen by AccountEdge when it tries to load them.

I’d start by opening AccountEdge and going into the Customise Forms section. You don’t need to make any changes to a form, instead the form needs to be saved as a customized form with a unique name that you haven’t used on the Mac as a file name. You can then search for this file name in Finder. This will help confirm the folder that AccountEdge is looking at for the customized forms so that you can confirm whether or not they are in the right location
