This will leave the Find Clients tab open after you've clicked into a client. When you click the Contacts button again, it will take you back to the opened Find Clients tab which you should find is a quicker way to work. https://help.myob.com/wiki/x/Tgl3AQ Re: Add employee as partner HiTSmith98 I've included a link below which explains how to add a partner. https://help.myob.com/wiki/x/nC6EAQ Re: Change save location for invoices after sending via email Hijobryant The location of where emailed invoices are stored is hard-coded in the software and can't be changed. Emailed invoices and Debtor Statements are both stored in a Mail Merge folder as that's the underlying component that's used to allow documents to be emailed. Re: Client Notes HiAccountant92 You're absolutely correct; there isn't anyreport available to print off all the notes. You're only option in AE or AO is to open each one from within a client & select Print. Alternatively, you could look into getting a custom script written for this. This can be arranged via your Client Manager and they can advise of the cost involved with this. Re: Bulk transfer of clients from one manager to another but not ALL clients. HiJessicapaige There is no bulk update available for departments. The options available are to get a custom script written for you to update a list of clients, which can be arranged by your Client Manager or manually change the department on each client. Re: MYOB AE - Associated Reports HiAccountant92 To report on associations, select Reports > Maintenance > Associations. There's no standard report, so you'll have to click New to create a report. After selecting all 3 fields, you could drag Association up to the dark grey area where it says 'Drag a column header here to group by that column' to break the report up into association types for example. I've included a link below to a help topic on Creating reports which has examples and a guide which should help you in creating a report: https://help.myob.com/wiki/x/wpU6Ag Re: HomePages HiAshleigh2 Depending on what settings your Display Optionshave, you could change this via View > Display Options. You can select My Homepages as the default view and then click the My Homepage tab to re-order your homepages. Once you've made the change, close and re-open AE. https://help.myob.com/wiki/x/kS6EAQ I hope this helps. Re: MYOB AE Practice Manager - Changing Payment Terms and Days on a Global basis for all clients HiEnien I have attached an article link below which has various scripts/utilities attached that you can choose from depending on your trading terms. Note: There is no default setting in the database to control this. https://help.myob.com/wiki/x/VwZ3AQ Just save and run the appropriate one, once all users are logged out of AE/AO. Once this has been run, it would be best to update your Client Creation form to include a checkbox, so the Defaults tab is updated otherwise, you'll need to run the script on a regular basis to ensure your clients are all updated. I hope that helps. Re: Client Portal - 'sorry something went wrong try again later' HiEmilyK79 Can you please check that your portal name or users email address doesn't contain an apostrophe or any other special character as per KB 38211 below: https://help.myob.com/wiki/x/xgV3AQ Re: Can I bulk close jobs in Job Manager HIShirlene As you found, once you change and add to existing milestones, it can cause previously closed jobs to reappear; especially if the end milestone has changed. There is no bulk close option available in Job Manager so they would need to be closed individually if you don't want to continue to filter them out or else pay for a custom script to be written to update your jobs. If you're interested in a custom script, can you please log a support call via the my.myob website so this can be actioned.
