After many many hours on the phone to MYOB they asked for a diagnostic log of the desktop file and apparently there was something in the log that one of them saw and worked out what the issue was. They ran a script and it now works. So there is a fix you just have to get them to look a the right report. I would have thought they would have sent something out to all their support operators given this is happening in many files. I chatted with an MYOB agent, sent her the link to this post and mentioned about running the script. Then she was able to fix it for me. Re: Unable to process first pay for July 23 Same here. I wonder when this is going to get fixed. I picked this up two weeks ago when trying to process July pays in advance. Was chatting with MYOB for 4 hours. I didn't get any solution. Unable to process payroll for July 2023 I have to process the next two fortnightly payroll, both dated in July 2023, but MYOB (both software and browser) won't let me. The bank authorisers are going overseas so the pays must be done before 27th of June. I have done the EOY payroll finalisation, but still getting the error. We have two different types of PL: teachers and admin staff. They have to be separated because teachers have more PL entitlement than admin staff. We don't have any issue with the teachers'. With the PL for admin staff, I have issue with one of the employees where her balance as at end of June 2022 didn't carry over for this financial year. When I generate the detailed report by the end of June, her balance is 29 hours, but when I generate the same report for this financial year, there is no beginning balance, hence showing zero balance. Even in the employee's card, it's showing zero. I checked the payslip, the entitlement line is also not showing. This is despite all boxes are ticked. We also have issues with the annual leave of pre-school staff where it doesn't accrue automatically each pay. This is only happening to a couple of entitlements. The other entitlements have no issue so far. Also, the same entitlement is not showing on the payslip of some employees (not all) eventhough the "Print on Pay Advice" is ticked. Exporting Employees Cards to Excel after using Self-Onboarding Form - Format Error Hi, I noticed that after using the Online Self-Onboarding Form, when I export the employees card to Excel, the new employees who have completed theSelf-Onboarding Form, their card info is split into two rows, therefore most data are not aligned to the correct column header. How can I fix this? MYOB Team - Profile Editing Is there a way to lock the profile of the employees in their MYOB Teams app for editing? Since all info in the app is synced to the MYOB accountright, employees should not be able to change their info in the app especially the tax section. If an employee is not knowledgable enough, there is a possibility that they change the info by mistake which will affect their net pay. This has happened to one of our employees. Our employees are used to emailing any changes to the payroll officer anyway. Also, one employee changed her first name to her preferred name which is not her legal name. This is also something that they should not do in the app. Re: TOTAL YTD earnings to be shown on Payslips I second this. There should be total YTDs for gross earnings, tax and superannuation. This is one of the most raised issues I get from employees.
