Payroll Tax in More than One State Can you please enable the Payroll Tax calcuation function to differentiate between States? I have employees in QLD and NSW - and calculating Payroll Tax at the end of the month is a tedious process of extracting Activity Detail Report into spreadsheets to split the data how it needs reporting, then running Category Transactions to make sure I still balance. There is no report that gives the information I need that also identifies employees so that I can split the figures between employees in NSW and QLD. Remove Emergency Contact Info from Payroll Advice Report Can you please remove the Emergency Contact Details from the Payroll Advice Report. The report is sent to 3rd parties (WorkCover QLD for example) and should not include Emergency Contact Details. The Emergency Contact Details are automatically loaded into the Notes on the employees Card File when Onboarding has been completed. I believe Emergency Contacts should have their own section, not just shoved into notes. And why is the Payroll Advice Report reading the Notes section on the Card File anyway? This issue is in breach of privacy legislation and the solution given of exporting to excel, removing emergency contact details, then re-pdf to send is cumbersome. Re: Payroll Advice Report - Remove Emergency Contact Hi Princess When running a report that spans a long period of time, each pay processed is an individual transaction. A report covering a full financial year would mean deleting the next of kin information 52 separate times throughout the report. Then re-saving the report as a pdf to enable sending it. Quite a cumbersome solution to an issue that shouldn't be there in the first place. I suggest this issue should be addressed in your next software update as it is a breach of privacy legislation. Or at least make an effort to customise the report to meet the needs of your customers. Mel Re: Payroll Advice Report - Remove Emergency Contact No solution yet Lea-Anne. No response received yet to my message from 2 weeks ago. Re: Payroll Advice Report - Remove Emergency Contact Hi Earl I am unsure what you are asking with regard to checking if I can find the person to contact in case of emergency. As previously advised, their details are in the Card Details Tab in the notes section. So yes, I can find them if needed. The issue is that they are on the Payroll Advice Report. I find it strange that you would request a screen shot of a Payroll Advice Report on a Public Forum. I have run a report and redacted all confidential information. You will see on the attached document that the Emergency Contact Details are included (outlined in purple). Regards Mel Re: Payroll Advice Report - Remove Emergency Contact Hi Earl The Emergency Contact information is automatically loaded via online onboarding in Cards List, Employee Tab, I click the blue arrow to open up an employee, then on the Card Details Tab the Next of Kin information has been loaded into the "Notes:" section. When I go to Lists, Custom List Field Names, Employees, the Name of Custom List No 3 is "Custom List No. 3". I haven't set up any custom lists. On the same Card Details tab, Identifiers has nothing and Custom Lists are blank. Hope this helps. Cheers Mel Payroll Advice Report - Remove Emergency Contact Hi all. How do I remove the Emergency Contact Details from the Payroll Advice Report in AccountRight? The Emergency Contact Details are automatically loaded into the Notes on the employees Card File when Onboarding has been completed. The Payroll Advice Report needs to be sent to 3rd parties such as WorkCover QLD and should not include Emergency Contact details. Any assistance/advice with customising reports in general would be appreciated. Thanks Mel Payroll Tax How do I manage Payroll Tax when I have employees in two different states? I have employees in both QLD and NSW - so the payroll tax setup (and report) doesn't work for me because I can't separate out NSW from QLD. What is the best report for me to extract the information I need for payroll tax? That is, a payroll categories report that has totals per employee, not category. Solved
