Bank Feeds

Hi All,

I am currently using Essentials, but will be moving to AccountRight from 1/7/15.

I have already set up my AccountRight file with contacts, etc, and applied for bank feeds.

It has only just dawned on me that the feeds will (More than liekly) start this finaincial year; but they are not required until July.

Is there a way MYOB can set my feeds to start on 1/7/15? Or if not possible, delete transactions that come through before then?

Any help would be appreciated.

Firstly I'd like to extend to you a warm welcome to the Community Forum. I hope you find it a valuable resource.

If you've already applied for Bank Feeds for AccountRight you'll pleased to find that AccountRIght handles BankFeeds a little bit differently to Essentials Accounting.  While they might begin feeding prior to 01/07/2015 you will have the option to hide any BankFeed transactions that come through if you do not wish to create or match them to a transaction.  All you need to do is right click and select the option to hide the transaction.  While there is still a record of the feed in the system which can be retrieved if it was accidentally removed there is nothing that necessitates that the feed is matched/allocated as they were in Essentials.

In any event, if you've set your conversion month in AccountRight to July you won't receive any Bank Feeds prior to 01/07/2015 as no transactions can be recorded prior to that date.

That's good to know.

Not sure why I did it, but I set the conversion month to June 15. Oh well, I'll just hide the transactions.
