I apologise if this issue has been addressed and solved for another user but I could not see anything.
I have just registered for bank feeds and receiving bank transactions through okay but my entered transactions are not appearing in the bank feed window to match?
Has anyone experienced this before? It is the same for our cheque and credit card account.
Cheers

Hi @danhil
Basically to make a transaction appear so it can be matched in AccountRight there are 3 requirements that needs to be meet:
So provided that the bank transactions impact the bank account, is on a suitable day, has a suitable amount and not reconciled or marked as cleared you should be able to match that transaction.

Hi again
Thanks so much for your reply and I am sorry I have not responded sooner but bank feeds have been on the back burner lately.
Unfortunately, your answer hasnt really helped. Maybe its just me expecting too much from this feature. I thought the bank feeds window would be just like the Bank Register window where all the transactions entered are showing and none of my entered transactions are visible. Is that how it goes?
Cheers

Hi @danhil
Well yes and no. Bank feeds is a tool that helps with reconciling your transactions. It does this by matching your actual bank transactions with your AccountRight ones. If you go to Banking>>Bank Feeds you have two sections: Bank Statement and Your transactions. The Bank Statement are your bank transactions and Your Transactions would be the transactions you have matched or generated off the bank feeds.
You can find an existing transaction to match a bank feed to using the Find option in the middle section. Within here you can use the Search Criteria to find a transaction to match it to. This would be where you bank transactions go to. You can also generate actual transactions from the bank feed using the New button.
So yes the ideal end would be a similar screen to the Bank Register where you have all your transactions listed in the Your Transactions section. But on the other hand no as you do need to do some ground work to get those transactions appearing, either via finding or creating them off the bank feed transactions.

Hi @danhil
I think Bank feeds is a learning curve for a lot of clients, as its a new feature for AccountRight. I would recommend having a look at Help Article: About bank feeds It does contain a video on how to use the feature to get the most benefit.
Along with that you are always welcome to post on the MYOB Community Forum. I'm sure that the MYOB Community would be happy to assist.
