Bank feeds

Where do i find the bank feed authorisation form? Can't find it anywhere on the site.

 

Or the 8 digit code to do it via online banking.

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of knowledge. 

The bank feed authority form is generated when you apply for bank feed via your my.MYOB account. This form is generated during the process and can be printed at that time or by reprinting at a later stage.

I would recommend taking a look at Help Article: Set up bank feeds for more information into setting up the bank feed and generating that bank feed authority form or setting up the feed via your online banking.

I have spent hours pondering over the information to seup bank feeds.

When i press the add account button in myob it takes me to the wed page - our account is listed there with "invalid accound name" - i previously put the trading name in there. i deleted it as instructed in myob.  There is no button anywhere on the webpage to add an account or credit card. it just says there are no credit card listed. So i am mystified on where to go next to add the accounts in correctly.

If the option to apply for bank feeds isn't available, then AccountRight hasn't logged you in as the owner. AccountRight may be using saved details entered previously. 

To fix this, close AccountRight completely and reopen it. The welcome screen will come and you may see your file listed under recently opened files. Ignore it and instead click 'Open' on the left. Here click online. When you click online, a new panel will appear just below the online button. It will either say 'Log in to AccountRight Live' or it will say 'Welcome you are logged into AccountRight Live as:', followed by a username.

You'll need to make sure that the username entered is the one that we have setup as the owner login. If it isn't, then log out and log in as the owner. I'll send you a private message shortly telling you what login is the owner login. Once logged in as the owner, you'll be able to complete the process.
