Credit Card Bank feed

I have just linked a bank feed that I didnt realise was sitting there ready.  Once the account was linked/associated I went in and got transactions from the bank.  The transactions go back to Oct 14. I have already reconcilled this credit card to the current month. What can I do to make the bank feed balance without undoing my recomcilliations back to October? I know that I can hide the transactions, but Im not sure how that affects the balance. Also if hiding the transactions is how to do it, can I hide more than one transaction at a time, as I have many months worth of transactions. Thank you

Re: Credit Card Bank feed

Hello @LDunk,

Firstly, might I extend to you a warm welcome to the Community Forum.  I hope you find it a valuable resource.

If you've received bank feed transactions for an account in which you've already created & reconciled the transactions for, then as far as the bank feeds are concerned you will need to hide them.  As those transactions have been reconciled they will no longer be available for matching in which case you would have to select the bank feeds one-by-one to hide them I'm afraid, currently AccountRight doesn't have the option to hide the transaction in bulk.

If this isn't a suitable solution for you as there is too many transactions - then, alternatively we can remove the bank feed transactions for you from that account up until a designated date.  I've sent you a private message with instructions on how to make this request.

Feel free to post again if you have more questions.

Regards,
Matyas
