When I first set up bank feeds I included an account that is no longer relevant. I never ssociated it with a MYOB account therefore there are no matched transactions, however MYOB says it has received bank transactions for it so it apparently can't be deleted. Is there a workaround here please? Everytime I do my bank feeds I get the yellow warning telling me 'A bank feed is not associated : click manage bank accounts and associate an account to the bank feed'. I need to delete the account so I don't see this warning anymore. Thanks.

Hi @BRIGITTE
You could go to my.MYOB and then to My Products >>> BankFeeds and then on the right hand side side of the account you want gone, click on Cancel and it should cancel the feeds for you.
If not an MYOB Moderator will have to sort it for you.

Cancelled the feeds following your advice so shouldn't get any more but it still has the previous feeds in there somewhere, although I can't see them because I never actually associated a MYOB account to the bank account.

Hello @BRIGITTE,
If you've cancelled the Bank Feeds through your my.MYOB account and a bank account was never associated with it in AccountRight then there shouldn't be any record of the bank feed transactions. Without an associated account, no feeds would have come through. You can check the status under Banking > Bank Feeds > Manage Bank Accounts. It should now say that the status is cancelled.
I hope that this helps you out, if you need further assistance please don't hesitate to post again.
Regards,
Matyas

Thanks. When I go into Manage Bank Accounts it says the account is cancelled but it will still not let me delete it because it has received transactions even though it was never associated with an account. I am still getting yellow 'Warning A bank feed is not associated. Click Manage bank accounts and associate an account to the bank feed.' each time I go into Bank Feeds. The feeds must have come through and be hovering around in there somewhere even though the bank account was never associated.

Hi @BRIGITTE
The warning message 'A bank feed is not associated' merely means when AccountRight checks for all the bank accounts listed in 'Manage Bank Accounts', there is one or more accounts does not have an associated account set. It does not matter if the bank feeds is active or cancelled for that bank account, as previous feeds associated with this bank account can still be reconciled.
In order to get rid of the warning message, I would suggest selecting an associated account for this bank account, even though you have no intention of using Bank Feeds for this account. You can associate it to a random bank account/credit card account, it will make no difference.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to let us know how you go.
Kind regards,
Clover

Thanks Clover, that advice has helped to remove the warning which is great. However, I would still love to delete that bank account entirely in manage bank accounts so I can forget it, maybe not possible....

You are most welcome @BRIGITTE
Glad to hear the annoying warning message is now gone.
I'm afraid if you receive the error message when trying to delete the bank account, then the account cannot be removed. However it does not hurt to leave it in the Manage Bank Account list, you don't really need to access this page once the bank feeds is set up.
Please do not hesitate to post again at any time if you have more queries.
Kind regards,
Clover
