Why does the supplier bank account name field only accept capitals when banks accept mixed case.
Is this an error?
Thanks.

t's to reduce confusion and errors when processing payments.
Most banks work with only capitals - or allow you to key-in a name with mixed upper and lower case, then automatically convert the name to all upper case (behind the scene) before processing the transaction. Reason: lower and UPPER case letters have different values in the ASCII standard keyboard codes table, used on PCs and Macs - for example, letter "A" is ACSII code 65 whilst "a" is code 97. (ASCII is now a part of Unicode)

Hey @Kelly81,
Thanks for your query.
As per what Kym advised above, it is not an error but more just a structure how it is displayed.
