AccountRight Classic (v19): This app has been blocked for your protection

Hi Everyone

 

Products: AccountRight Classic (v19 or below)

 

We have identified that a recent Windows 10 update has resulted in several clients receiving this message in Windows: "This app has been blocked for your protection. For more information contact the administrator.”

 

We recommend that clients who come across this message seek assistance from an IT specialist.

 

We've found that right-clicking on the desktop app and selecting “Run as Administrator” has allowed some users access to the application.

 

Please note that if you're using a multi-user environment this could impact your IT security policy and we recommend consulting your IT specialist. 
 

Note: As of 30 September 2019, MYOB no longer provides compatibility or compliance updates for the AccountRight Classic range.
