Changing online administrator

My client would like to change the online administrator from one partner to another. Will you be able to send me the instructions on this subject. Thanks.

Hi @YOLgnca

 

If we're simply making another person an Administrator and removing the other one, this can be done in the AccountRight software and my.MYOB.

 

To do this, simply go to: Setup > User Access and create the new User and check the Box for them to be an Online Administrator.

Then go to the other User to remove and ensure the Company File Role is something other than Administrator and then check the "Inactive User" checkbox, Click Save and Invite User to push these changes.

 

You'll then be presented with this prompt:

If you click "Yes" it will open up my.MYOB for you to be able to revoke that User's Access in my.MYOB.

 

 

On a small note, if the new person will be using the same email address that User should go to my.MYOB and go to: My Account > My Details and edit the information here to swap the names to the new person.
