Dext Integration with MYOB

Hi

 

Just wondering whether others have had issues this week with integrations between Dext and MYOB since the update?  When we try to publish, the invoice moves to review with the message Sorry MYOB's service was temporarily unavailable and we were not able to publish this item.  Please retry publishing later.  Email communication with Dext (Receipt Bank) gives us a response 24 hours later (I assume they are overseas) confirming they are investigating (this was Wednesday) and continue to confirm today they are still investigating.  We just want to see if others have this issue.  We are so disappointed, we attend Xero roadshows who push us to use add-on apps such as Dext (Receipt Bank) to structure and streamline our tasks.  We get our clients onboard emailing their invoices to Dext for us to process thru to MYOB then major issues like this happen and nearly a week later we still don't have a resolution.  We are talking a large volume of invoices now being individually downloaded and manually entered into MYOB as we can't expect our clients to wait for this issue to be resolved.

We are aware that some users are experiencing an error with DEXT and their integration methods. This is something that we are aware of and our teams are working with DEXT to investigate the situation. At this time, we don't have any further information and an update that we can provide.

Are you aware of what the problem is with the Dext integration with MYOB?  I have tried again today to push invoices to MYOB via Dext- still with no success.   Can you advise a timeframe for this matter to be resolved?  Would appreciate any advice.

It would be great to get an update on this as we are experiencing all sorts of issues such as invoices publishing without an attachment and then not archiving in Dext.  MYOB is also allowing duplications which is costing our clients more for double checking.

PS.  I received a response from Dext to say there is an issue with the MYOB API so they have reached out to the specialist team to try to resolve.... fingers crossed!

It would be really great if in the first instance there was a "heads up" that there was an issue with Dext integrating with MYOB. The issue with duplications is proving to be extremely time consuming and at times costly as invoices are slipping through and being paid. How do you explain to a client that the products they're paying for (Dext & MYOB) aren't working properly and that to top it off there's extra time being spent (& therefore client will be charged for) on double/triple checking every item that does come through into MYOB.

100% true P Macdowell, strange how when it was Receipt Bank it would pick up the duplications and merge but now it's Dext this function no longer occurs.  Well its now Tuesday and still we can't integrate to MYOB.

Hi All

 

Is anyone aware if there has been a resolution to this issue, I have only just come accross this since the update to 2021.4. I can not upload into MYOB from DEXT and have tried re-integration between the two to no avail. :-(

Hi Nikki

 

From what I can remember, it was established Dext worked with MYOB to resolve the issue which was a result of miscommunication between MYOB doing their update and Dext system.  Not 100% sure what Dext ended up doing but overnight the issue resolved.

Thanks Nicola, I''m wondering then if my issue is completely unrelated?

 

When I publish from DEXT I get a failure message and then a message to review 'Sorry, we cannot verify that your MYOB Account active. Please refer to MYOB before retrying.'

 

So frustrating.
